This is the second long-form issue of Stork Magazine that I designed. In
these stories, many of the characters live in the margins of society, so I
wanted to incorporate that into the design. Where we were able to use
French flaps on the fourth issue, for this issue I decided to use a stained
effect on the foredge of the book, while the cover design uses a rule to
draw additional attention to the edges/margins of the object itself.
