On On On Dot Dot Dot: Dexter Sinister and Art[istic] Production is my senior
thesis project, and incorporates a year’s worth of research, writing, and
design. It focuses on the philosophies and working methods of New York
design duo Dexter Sinister, and the journal they edit and publish, Dot Dot
Dot. On On On Dot Dot Dot not only presents my research as written
information, but in its visual form too—because I was focusing on ideas of
reappropriation, artistic influence, and methods of production, the magazine
I produced took the form of an issue of Dot Dot Dot, with a similar approach
toward the representation of the material.
